Wonderful relaxation in a rural ambience
With us you can experience authentic farm life. The fields and meadows are mowed twice a year and the hay is gathered and stored as part of a hard, strenuous ritual. Our “ladies” look forward to the sweet-smelling mountain meadow hay, which contains a wide variety of wild herbs.
Super fresh and super tasty
You will find all sorts of vegetables including courgettes, carrots, kohlrabi, red cabbage and lettuce on our farm – as do the tasty Val Pusteria potatoes, from which farmer Judith conjures up delicious “Erdäpfelblattlen mit Sauerkraut” (potato leaves with sauerkraut).
Our animals
Get to know our cows: Elda, Gitti, Edelweiss to name just a few. The chickens clucking away happily and “Minna” the cat and “Aryk” the farm dog, who are of course always eager to be stroked.
Farm-own alpine hut

Our mountain hut “Engel-Morgenberg” is located at an altitude of 1825 metres in the middle of lush mountain meadows. Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you as you doze in the sun or let the rustic, romantic atmosphere soothe you with a crackling fire in the wood-burning stove.
Can be reached from the farm on a leisurely hike in 45-60 minutes. (Suitable for prams)
For the sake of nature and the environment
We value the wood from our forests as fuel for heat generation (wood chips), produce self-sufficient electricity from photovoltaic and solar systems and make a small but important contribution to biodiversity by planting bee pastures.
Socialising
We have all sorts of exciting things for our little guests: take a ride on the tractor, dig in the sandpit, scale the climbing tower, feed the farm animals or “hay hopping” in the summer – your children will definitely never get bored with us.
Whether it's the sun terrace, the balcony, the comfortable bench in front of the garden or the lounger on the lawn - find your favourite spot at the Pfeifhof and enjoy the panoramic views over the Sesto Valley or marvel at the famous “Alpenglow” as the rising sun kisses the mountain peaks in the morning.

Swing your scythe and get ready to rake! There is something almost soothing about laying out the freshly cut grass under the warming sun, with the same repetitive movements. The hearty “Brotzeit” snack tastes all the better with the golden rays of the evening sun in your face!
